I grew up in Belchertown and continue to raise my 2 children here. We currently have 3 dogs, KC-15 yrs old German Shepard, Luna-3 yrs Belgian Mal, and Juniper-1 yrs mix as well as 2 cats at home.
I became Interested in dog training while learning and training one of my dogs. She is a high energy breed from working lines, (Belgian Malinois) which wasn’t something I had dealt with before. As we learned together I really enjoyed the experience as well as finding it hugely important in having this amazing dog fit into our family!
I had such success that I decided to change careers! I worked for a local dog walking/ pet sitting business and studied!
I am currently certified through Karen Pryor Academy and insured. I use only force free, positive reinforcement training techniques.
I assist with group classes taught by Marlene Layman and Walks-and-Wags at PanaRico farm, as well as run the K9 Advantage Enrichment Camp! In my free time I enjoy hikes and swift river time with my own pups!
I have worked with many breeds and owners and continue to have the same passion and excitement for training dogs as my first day!
